MOTION: Councillor M. Ward

"Due to the fact that South Dublin County Council is currently undertaking a country-wide speed limit review and that Children at Play signs will be installed in residential areas as part of this process, this committee agrees that "blind child at play" signs should be included in this process in  areas that are requested."

REPORT:

Only signs in accordance with the Traffic Signs Manual may be erected on Public Roads.  The sign suggested is not in accordance with the manual.
