QUESTION NO.11
QUESTION: Councillor B. Leech
Can the Council explain how allocations to housing are decided and under what priority are they given. A case in point is the new build in Suncroft. Is it time on the waiting list, overcrowding or medical priority. On what basis where they awarded.
REPLY:
All properties are allocated in accordance with the Council's Allocations Scheme. The Scheme referred to was allocated as follows:
2 Homeless Priority
2 Medical Priority
2 Transfer
2 CBL
All were allocated on a time on list basis which is in the Scheme.
