QUESTION: Councillor E. O'Brien

"To ask the Chief Executive to confirm what steps, if any, have been taken on foot of my motion in February 2016 reference 48314 to make the area either side of the N4 at Cherbury Park safer, noting another serious incident reported in this location this month?"

REPLY:

"Following on from Motion 9 at the February meeting of the Lucan ACM, the vegetation on both sides of the footbridge was pruned back in Spring 2016. A further inspection of the area will carried out to see if additional pruning works are required. The Public Lighting Section have confirmed that the issue of lighting will be examined at this location."
