QUESTION: Councillor C. O'Connor

"To ask the Chief Executive to present an update on plans to deliver a new Library building in Castletymon, Tallaght and in reporting will he outline actions taken to consult the local community in the matter?"

REPLY:

The plans for the new public library in Castletymon have been on public display in the Library and in the County Council building for the last 6 weeks. A consultation portal has been set up so that the public can see the plans and comment on the potential new library location and design.

The closing date for submission is 20^th October. A report will be presented at the November Council meeting for noting by the Members.
