QUESTION: Councillor C. O'Connor

"To ask the Chief Executive if he plans to provide Grant Aid this year to Dublin Community Games noting that this important organisation has received such Grants from our Council each year and will he also appreciate that Dublin Community Games, which has catered for young people throughout our County with their sporting and cultural programme, celebrates the 50th anniversary of its founding in 2017?"

REPLY:

"Dublin Community Games has made an application for funding assistance in the second round of the Community Grants Programme. The grant applications received in this round are currently being assessed by senior staff in the community development team.  A full report and a list of grants recommended for approval will be presented to the November council meeting."
