QUESTION: Councillor W. Lavelle

"To ask the Chief Executive if he will agree to make the council-owned lands at Mount Bellew Way next to Lucan Educate Together NS available for provision of a much-needed safe drop-off and turning area once the current use of this land as a compound for contractors engaged in the Willsbrook Road cycle upgrade scheme is completed?

REPLY:

"Mount Bellew Way has been identified under Objective TM7 SLO1 to provide visitor car parking and turning point to facilitate  the better management of drop-offs and pick-ups at the neighbouring Lucan Educate Together National School.

The contractor will require use of the land until April 2017, subject to work schedule of the Willbrook Cycle Upgrade Scheme."
