MOTION NO. 17

MOTION: Councillor R. Nolan

"Due to the high demand for extra busses on the 25a and 25b in Lucan especially prior to 9am, can this Committee call on Dublin Bus to put more busses on the route."

REPORT:

"As a result of previous representation from this committee the following reply was received by Dublin Bus on the 6th April 2016. 

I can confirm that Dublin Bus are currently working on the below bullet points.

• Due to some reliability issues with the 25/A/B services, Dublin Bus is currently reviewing schedules on these routes. (Projected Introduction Autumn 2016)
• Dublin Bus are currently looking at the possibility of extending route 26 to Liffey Valley.(Projected introduction Autumn 2016)

Both of the above are subject to NTA approval.

Should this motion be passed a request will be sent to Dublin Bus requesting an update on the above."
