QUESTION: Councillor D. O'Donovan

"To ask the Chief Executive how many 'Children At Play' signs have been requested and how many signs have been delivered over the past 12 months in the RTT area?"

REPLY:

"Between the years 2013 and 2015 41 Children at Play signs and poles have been provided in the Rathfarnham/Terenure/Templeogue area

In 2015 16 signs were requested.

In 2016 to date 37 signs have been requested.

When the new Draft Speed Limits are agreed for residential areas in the county, the new signage in the county will incorporate children at play signage with a 30kph speed limit on the one sign in all residential estates."
