MOTION: Cllr. Marie Corr

"That the Architects address as a matter of urgency the condition of the boundary wall of Russell Square given the ommission of an agreed report on the matter to the last Tallaght Area Committee"

REPORT

The design team for this development reports that the levels of the existing boundary wall comply fully with the Building Regulations, however due to changing levels along this boundary it does not appear to be visually correct when viewed from an external angle.  However the view internally is correct in all respects.

The matter has been raised with the design team on a number of occasions but an aesthetic solution which would be more appropriate from both external and internal views is not possible.  It is considered likely that the residents of the development would object to any alterations which would not be considered appropraite from their prospective.
