QUESTION NO. 13
QUESTION: Councillor L. Dunne
"To ask the Chief Executive for an update on the green space on Brookview Green? It was decided at May's Area Committee meeting that the two residents would be consulted with and the possibility of this green space given over to them, with boundary walls put in place. Has any action been taken in relation to the above?"
REPLY:
The question of incorporating this area into gardens is currently being examined in light of the need to keep access available for maintenace of the high pressure water main underground there. The exact lines of the main as well the possibility of building walls near or on it is being examined in conjunction with Irish Water. When it is known if it is possible to build walls and the cost of same is available, a meeting will be arranged with the 2 residents to discuss same.
