Saggart Village Scheme

The drawing shown indicates the proposed scope and detail of works for the enhancement of the Village. The landscaping detail at the village plaza is under discussion with Public Realm. However, it is proposed that one of the new trees planted as part of the scheme will be a Christmas Tree with a power supply provided for festive lighting.

The design is essentially the same as the Part VIII approved by the Council  in July 2015. However, Mill Lane will remain open to vehicular traffic as requested by the elected members at the ACM of August 2015.

It is proposed that the scheme will go to tender before the end of the year with a site commencement in early Spring 2017.
