MOTION NO. 8

MOTION: Councillor C. King

That this Committee calls on the Chief Executive to inspect Cloonmore Avenue with a view to installing ramps on behalf of the residents who are experiencing difficulties at present with speeding legal and non road legal vehicles at present. To further ask the Chief Executive to take into consideration the large petition from residents and the fact that the previous traffic calming on the road was removed as it was inappropriately placed. 

REPORT:

A comprehensive list is being compiled of all requests for traffic calming throughout the county including Cloonmore Estate.

Proposals will shortly be presented to each Area Committee with a view to the members, through the Area Committee Chair presenting a number of locations to be examined in the context of the available resources.
