Proposed new school warden crossings. 

Following requests for new school warden crossings pedestrian and traffic counts were carried out at a number of locations by the road safety section.

As a result of these a new crossing is proposed at

• On Whitechurch Green outside house no.6
• College Drive @ Wainsfort Grove

If the Council approves the above locations a request will be made to the Commissioner of An Garda Síochána to sanction a school warden crossing at these locations. There is no timeframe for receiving authorisation so a commencement date for these crossings cannot be given.
