"That the Chief Executive recognises the recent difficulties and delays with regards to the painting of double-yellow no parking lines in the Rathfarnham-Templeogue/Terenure area. This Area Committee requests that the process be improved regarding the delivery of painting of such lines in the RTT area and if necessary maybe the RTT area can be batched with similar works in the Tallaght area to ensure the speedier delivery of vital traffic measures."

REPORT:

"A lining contractor has recently been appointed to carry out statutory signing and lining works in the County and they are working their way through the extensive list of areas to be done.

There was a backlog of Statutory requests with An Garda Siochana due to staff shortages, but this has since been cleared.  It is anticipated that the works will be carried out within a few weeks."
