QUESTION: Councillor B. Ferron

"To ask the Chief Executive if the Council can look at the provision of litter bins within the Kingswood Park. Also if signage can be erected for dog owners in relation to their responsibilities towards their pets while in the park?"

REPLY:

As part of the Litter Management Plan the Council is currently reviewing litter bin provision in the Public Realm having regard to the Litter Bin Placement Protocol, and will expand the litter bin stock around the County as deemed to be necessary. Current litter bin provision in Kingswood Park will be reviewed as part of this exercise.

Dog fouling signage was erected in Kingswood Park in 2015. An inspection of these signs will be carried out and replacements provided if any are required.
