Update on Pedestrian Crossing.

 

Traffic/pedestrian counts were carried out at the following suggested locations for pedestrian crossings:

Grange Road (at Eden Avenue)

Firhouse Road (at Knocklyon Avenue)

Knocklyon Road (at Service Station)

Orchardstown Avenue

Cypress Grove Road

Ballyroan Road (at Fonthill Abbey)

As a result of these counts a warrant for the provision of a pedestrian crossing was not established at any of the locations.

The locations suggested by members will continue to be examined.
