MOTION NO. 1

MOTION: Councillor C. O'Connor

That this Tallaght Area Committee welcomes the commitment to build a new Stand at Tallaght Stadium and asks the Chief Executive to confirm the schedule now being followed, the budget for the proposal and also state his plans for consultation in the matter.

REPORT:

A design team for the Third Stand at Tallaght Stadium is currently being assembled and will commence work in June 2016. Full consultation under Part 8 of the Planning Act will commence before the end of 2016.

Construction will commence in 2017 with a target completed date set for Quarter 2 2018.

Budget estimates will be prepared during the early stage of project design by the Design Team
