QUESTION: Councillor G. O'Connell

"To ask that Dublin Bus be written to again asking for an update report on the issues raised at the recent presentation to this committee, including addition capacity and bus routes and the extension of the 26 Bus to the Liffey Valley Retail Centre."

See below update received from Dublin Bus:-

Dear Barbara,

Thanks for your letter dated 2^nd March 2016 regarding your request for an update on plans for additional investment in bus services in Lucan.

Firstly I would like to apologise for the delay in responding to your letter.

I can confirm that Dublin Bus are currently working on the below bullet points.

• Due to some reliability issues with the 25/A/B services, Dublin Bus is currently reviewing schedules on these routes. (Projected Introduction Autumn 2016)
• Dublin Bus are currently looking at the possibility of extending route 26 to Liffey Valley.(Projected introduction Autumn 2016)

Both of the above are subject to NTA approval.
