QUESTION: Councillor M. Duff

"To ask the Chief Executive to indicate if the lands at Bishop Field, Tymon North, are still under the control and maintenance of South Dublin County Council and if so, will he confirm that grass cutting will continue on the field until such time as building of the Community Nursing Home commences?" 

REPLY:

The Land in question is currently subject to disposal to the HSE as approved by members under Section 183 at the County Council meeting held on 14th July 2014.  The Law Department is currently liaising with the HSE's Solicitors to progress the disposal. 

Grass cutting will continue on the field until such time as the building of the Community Nursing Home commences.
