MOTION NO. 10

MOTION: Councillor L. Dunne

That this Area Committee calls on the Chief Executive to widen the road outside St Aiden's SNS for drop off points for children attending school.

REPORT:

Council staff have met with the Parents' Association and implemented some agreed measures to improve safety.

There is an existing drop off location in the church car park serving St Aidan's SNS and St Brigid's JNS.

A scheme is under consideration wherby an additional drop off location would be provided at the school side of Brookfield Road.

A report will be brought to the Traffic Management Committee.
