QUESTION: Councillor F. Timmons

"To ask the Chief Executive for a report as to ownership history for the land at the Green isle hotel beside old Naas Road wall?" 

REPLY:

The lands concerned are in private ownership.

The Council did acquire lands from the “then” owner in the 1960’s to facilitate the construction of the Naas Road, this included a section at the eastern end to facilitate an entrance /exit.  The area referred to remained, and still remains, in private ownership.
