MOTION: Councillor J. Graham

"That this Committee agrees that the Council fund and assist Bawnogue Ladies Club in their efforts to establish and run an on-going gardening course for the club members and the wider community."

REPORT:

The Local Community Team is available to assist any group who are seeking advice or assistance with their plans or programmes. The Club can make direct contact with the Team through the Council.

At present the next round of the Council's Community Grants Programme 2016 has been advertised. The Community Grants Programme is aimed at providing financial assistance to Community and Voluntary Groups who are responding to locally identified needs within their communities.

The closing time for the receipt of fully completed application forms is 5.00 pm on Friday 29th April 2016. Members should note that late applications will not be accepted.
