QUESTION: Councillor D. O'Donovan

"To ask the Chief Executive for an update on planning file S7715 Re: Lands at Scholarstown Road as there have been reports that trees have been removed in contravention of the planning permission granted?"

REPLY:

Complaints were received concerning alleged unauthorised development on lands at Scholarstown Road during March 2016.

A Warning Letter under Section 152 of the Planning & Development Act 2000 (as amended) issued 4th March 2016.

The matter remains under investigation and a decision will be made on any necessary action when the investigation is complete.
