QUESTION NO. 12
QUESTION: Councillor B. Bonner
"To ask the Chief Executive if there is some shortage of materials or another issue impeding the removal of graffiti? The safety forum in North Clondalkin are concerned that extremely offensive graffiti, details of which are provided below not for inclusion, has not been removed, though it was reported in January?"
REPLY:
Offensive graffiti across the county is always prioritised for removal.
It is acknowledged that there was an issue with the supply of chemicals for the removal of graffiti before Christmas but that has since been rectified.
The graffiti at both these locations was removed on 8th March 2016. However on recent re-inspection it was noted that there may be a repeat incident at one location which has been relogged for removal, and the imprint of an initial incident at another location.
