QUESTION: Councillor D. Looney

"To ask the Chief Executive for an update on traffic calming for the area under the remit of this Committee; to state which areas have yet to receive traffic calming despite agreed Part 8's or other measures; and to make a statement on the matter?"

REPLY:

When the budget for traffic calming has been finalised the list of locations in the Rathfarnham/Templeogue-Terenure Area seeking traffic calming will be circulated to members for their consideration.

It should be noted that the inclusion of any location on the list is not an indication that traffic calming is suitable or appropriate for the area.

Traffic calming works of this nature are not subject to Part 8 procedure.
