"To ask the Chief Executive to outline as promised a timeframe for the commencement of the tender process for a playground at Waterstown Park, given that this was outlined repeatedly to members in conjuction with the planned refurbishment of Griffeen Valley Park; and if he will make a statement on the matter?"
REPLY:
The construction of the PlayGround in Waterstown Park, Liffey Valley is an objective of this Council. The current priority listing of the Council in relation to the construction and/or the refurbishment of Play Grounds, subject to the availability of funding and resources, in our Regional Parks is:
- Tymon Park (Tymon North)
- Griffeen Valley, Lucan
- Corkagh Park
- Waterstown Park
