QUESTION: Councillor V. Casserly

"To ask the Chief Executive to give clarification regarding the redevelopment of the playground in Griffeen Valley Park. When will redevelopment take place and also what is current funding for the project?"

REPLY:

The refurbishment of the Play Space in Griffeen Valley Park is included in the Capital Programme 2016 – 2018. This project will be progressed in 2016 and the next step is to produce a detailed design and costing for this project. This will in turn generate a definitive timeline for the project, including the consultation element and which will be made available to the Elected Members as soon as it has been developed.
