MOTION NO. 21

MOTION: Councillor R. Nolan

"That this Council supports and writes to the Minister of Education regarding an application for additional accommodation for two new classrooms in respect of St Mary's boys national school Lucan Co Dublin. As the school has reached an enrolment figure of 505 pupils, they are to receive an additional teacher from Sept 2016. At present they have no appropriate space to house a new teacher. They also require a room to facilitate resource requirements for children."

REPORT:

"If the Motion is approved, the Council will write to the incoming Minsiter for Education and Skills regarding an application for two additional classrooms for St Marys Boys NS, Lucan and when a response is received the Committee will be notified."
