QUESTION: Councillor L. O'Toole

"That this Council asks the Chief Executive to further investigate the traffic measures that are in place at the entrance to the rear of Supervalu, Lucan on the Newcastle road. Car accidents still continue to happen at this location (last one weekending 05.02.16)."

REPLY:

The entrance to the "rear" of Supervalu is on an access road that is not in charge of SDCC. This private access road comes onto the R120 at the southern end of Supervalu. The area will be looked at to determine if the area can be improved.
