"To ask the Chief Executive to detail the total number of persons on the older persons housing waiting list north of the Naas Road; to detail the number of allocations to people on this list for each year for the last three years, and to state the average length of time the people allocated these units were on the list in each year for the last three years?"
REPLY:
There are currently 46 applications from older persons on the Council's housing waiting list who have chosen the housing area 'North of the Naas Road'. Older persons are those of 65+ years in accordance with the Council's Allocation Scheme. The table below gives information on allocations to older persons from the housing waiting list, in the North of the Naas Road housing area for the past three years:-

There have also been cases where older persons have been housed on priority grounds.
