RATHFARNHAM VILLAGE/CASTLE - PEDESTRIAN CONNECTION

MOTION: Councillor J. Lahart

"That this Committee discusses the location of the proposed pedestrian connection between Rathfarnham Village and Rathfarnham Castle."

REPORT:

The installation of a pedestrian crossing across Rathfarnham Road is included in the Rathfarnham Village Improvement Scheme. Public notice of this scheme was published on 30th June 2005. Four submissions were received in response to this notice and the scheme was approved by the County Council at its meeting held on 10th October 2005.

The pedestrian crossing will be installed across Rathfarnham Road in the vicinity of Rathfarnham Castle.
