WHITEHALL ROAD/WELLINGTON ROAD - TRAFFIC SURVEY

MOTION: Councillor S. Laing

"That the Manager report  on the traffic survey that was to be carried out at the junction of Whitehall Road and Wellington Road as this has now developed into a serious traffic situation."

REPORT:

The final report on the "Review of the Traffic Management Arrangements in the Tereunre, Kimmage, Templeogue, Rathfarnham, Rathgar and Rathmines Areas" has recently been completed by consultants on behalf of Dublin City Council and South Dublin County Council. The consultants will make a presentation on the report and its recommendations to the members of both Councils at the earliest opportunity.

The countywide modeliing study for the South Dublin County area is currently being undertaken and it is anticipated that a final report will be available for presentation to the Council in June 2006.
