To ask the Chief Executive to outline the numbers of individuals employed in the county on CE Schemes; on Gateway schemes and as apprentices - and can he outline the range of their duties

REPLY

There are 294 individuals employed in the county on CE and Gateway Schemes.

Range of duties - Ce Scheme:

• Centre Attendants
• Reception Duties/Office Administration
• Childcare
• Kitchen duties
• Pitch maintenance/cemetery maintenance
• Coffee Shop attendant

Range of duties – Gateway Scheme:

• Environmental services – maintenance and development of industrial estates and public open spaces which will include general cleaning, litter picking, weeding, graffiti removal
• Derelict site clean ups
• Village Enhancement Schemes – remediation and restoration works
• Landscaping
• Estate improvements
