KNOCKLYON ROAD - BOUNDARY TREATMENT

QUESTION: Councillor M. Árdagh

"To ask the Manager to set out the boundary treatment on the Knocklyon Road and to state if following the completion of the detailed design of the new road if Councillors will have an opportunity to further consider the detail of the boundary treatment at that stage?"

REPLY:

The part 8 for the Knocklyon Road Scheme was approved by the members at the County Council meeting on the 10 October 2005.  Boundary treatments were agreed as part of that approval.  The scheme is now being designed by the Council's Consulting Engineers.  When the site investigations and detailed topographical surveys are completed a more accurate picture of the necessary boundary treatment consistent with that approved will emerge and will be notified to the members at that time.
