MOTION: Councillor W. Lavelle

"That this Area Committee calls on the Chief Executive to review the maintenance of the hedgerow and ditch between Ash Park and Elm estates with a view to addressing local problems of anti-social behaviour."

REPORT:

Ash Park estate is currently not in charge and the maintenance and upkeep of the sections of hedgerow and ditch within this estate is a matter for the landowner. Works on the Elm estate side of the ditch were carried out in 2015 with the removal of dumped litter and material. A review of the maintenance of the area will be undertaken with a view to determining what other works are required to address any antisocial activities taking place.
