MOTION NO. 23

MOTION: Councillor W. Lavelle

"That this Area Committee requests the Chief Executive to report on implementation of the road maintenance works programme in 2015 including the timeframe for any outstanding works; and to further request that examination be given to the following request for possible inclusion in the 2016 programme to be presented to elected members:

• - Plastering of boundary walls at Foxborough between the Foxborough Road roundabout and Grangecastle road junction;

• - Road surface repair/replacement at Roselawn & Ballydowd Grove,

• - Footpath repairs at Glenmaroon Road, Woodfarm Acres, Beech Grove and Esker Drive."

REPORT:

The roadworks programme in Lucan was completed within the year. Some works were commenced in Esker Park last year and will be continued in 2016.

Works on Lucan Main St. were deferred until the Village works are designed.

The remaining works suggested by the Councillor will be considered for inclusion in the 2016 Roadworks Programme subject to availability of finance.
