MOTION NO. 1

MOTION: Councillor M. Devine

That this Committee agrees a date for the residents of Glenview Estate to meet with Council officials to discuss and provide a timeline for works required to resolve foul flooding in their homes.

REPORT: 

SDCC Drainage Operations have met with the residents of the 3 houses affected and are meeting with Irish Water Operations on 26th January to discuss the possible solutions to the foul flooding problem. All foul works are fully funded by Irish Water.

SDCC are preparing an Asset Needs Brief for the Civil Works involved, this design/expenditure will be required to go through the Irish Water approval system for Minor Capital Works.
