QUESTION NO. 12

QUESTION: Councillor L. O'Toole

"To ask the Chief Executive for a list of houses/property that are due to become available to the council within the Lucan and Palmerstown area?"

REPLY:

With regard to properties in the possession of the Council for allocation this December 2015,  there are 12 properties in the Lucan area of which 9 have been allocated and offers accepted.  With regard to the 3 remaining properties in Foxford Court, there are 2 advertised on the Choice Based Letting System until noon Tuesday 15th December 2015 and it is the intention of advertising the final property on the Choice Based letting System next Friday 18th December 2015.

There are a number of other properties expected in 2015. It is not possible to say when they will be available as they are subject to negotitations which are ongoing.  These will be 3 units at The Paddocks, Lucan (Part V) and 14 Units at Moy Glas Glade Development (AHB - Respond) 

There are no properties available in the Palmerstown Area in the near future.
