MOTION NO. 1

MOTION: Councillor F. Warfield

"Recognising that the Orwell Shops are privately owned, this motion calls on South Dublin County Council to explore potential ways we can provide additional wheelchair car spaces for drivers in need of wheelchair parking. Prior to carrying out that research, this motion asks South Dublin County Council to write on behalf of elected representatives requesting that the management company provide this service."

REPORT:

If this motion is approved a letter will be issued to the Management Company of the Orwell Shops advising them of members representations and requesting them to  provide additional wheelchair car spaces for drivers in need of wheelchair parking and when a reply is received the Committee will be notified.
