QUESTION: Councillor B. Bonner

"To ask the Chief Executive for an update on the land transfer arrangment between SDCC and Scoil Mochua?

Scoil Mochua now wish to proceed with this land transfer."

REPLY:

Over an extended period of time the Council has engaged with representatives of Scoil Mochua to explore disposal arrangements in respect of Council owned lands adjacent to their existing campus on Old Nangor Road in respect of their proposals to develop their facilities.

The Council is committed to continuing this engagement with Scoil Mochua in tandem with their revised proposals.

Any disposal of Council owed land will be subject to the approval of the elected members in accordance with the Section 183 process
