QUESTION: Councillor D. O'Brien

"To ask the Chief Executive to install lighting on the foot bridge at the junction of the N4 and the Kennelsfort Road in Palmerstown as it is very dark for the people that use the bridge?"

REPLY:

The matter of installing additional lighting at this location was put on hold, pending the completion of the painting and repair contract works on the bridge itself.

These works are now complete and Public Lighting section will now review the matter of installing additional lighting in early 2016.
