Social Housing progress update

H-I (3) - Housing Supply Progress Versus Targets South Dublin County Council is required to deliver 1445 Social Housing Units for the period 2015-2017. The targets were set under a combination of Capital and Current expenditure programmes. The below table outlines the targets for each mechanism for provision of social housing and the units delivered to the end of October 2015.

   1. Social Housing Infill: 3 Construction Projects on site as at October 2015. 15 Units

  1. Leasing figures includes Tallaght Cross 65 units acquired under NARPS vehicle and managed by TUATH AHB and 45 Oakley AHB – Pair Na Greine Cookstown Road (P&A agreement recently signed with Oakley AHB)
  1. HAP target set by SDCC based on first three months activity 2015
  1. This relates to the units that are allocated to people on the housing list through casual vacancies.
  1. Acquisition Programme includes AIB, BOI for 2015 and also includes incidental acquisitions under Part V. We have committed to purchase 34 properties which are at varying stages of completion. There are a further 25 properties which are in the process of being purchases – due diligence is being exercised prior to committing to purchase.
  1. Capital Assistance Scheme: There are currently 11 units which will funded through CAS 2015 which have been notified as Sale Agreed for the provision of Homeless and Disability housing need. It is hoped that these will be finalised for allocation in January 2016.

The rollout of the Part 8 social housing developments are reported as follows:
