QUESTION: Councillor D. O'Donovan

"To ask the Chief Executive how  many community groups within the RTT Electoral Area applied for bulbs under the Bulbs Not Bonfire programme?"

REPLY:

In 2014 there were 20 applications from groups within the RTT electoral area under this Bulbs not Bonfires initiative, once the deadline was reached remaining bags of bulbs were offered to groups on a first come first served basis.

This year, only 2 applications were received from groups within the RTT electoral area for this initiative.
