QUESTION: Councillor E. Ó Broin
"To ask the Chief Executive to provide a report detailing the amount of money spent in 2015 in the Clondalkin LEA on traffic calming and the locations where traffic calming was installed and repaired; and to further outline the amount of money available in 2016 for new traffic calming and repair of existing traffic calming?"
REPLY:
During 2015 Traffic Calming ramps were installed on Greenfort Lawns, Hazelgrove, Castle Grange Rd, Monksfield and the Old Nangor Road.
The amount expended was €31,376.93.
A decision has not yet been made in relation to expenditure on traffic calming ramps for 2016.
Expenditure of €60,000 was spent on repairing ramps in the Lucan and Clondalkin areas in 2015 and any outstanding repairs will be completed in 2016.
