QUESTION NO. 13

QUESTION: Councillor B. Ferron

"To ask the Chief Executive if the area leading into Glenview from the Tallaght Bye-Pass can be inspected and works carried out. The area has become very overgrown and I have received several complaints from residents?"

REPLY:

The area in question between the Tallaght Bypass and Glenview Estate has been examined recently. The grass in the area has been cut in recent days and will remain on the regular grass cutting schedule to the end of the season. The hedging in the area will be cut on the autumn/winter hedge cutting programme which has commenced recently. It is proposed that the growth around the trees on the approach from Glenview to the N81 will also be cut in the coming weeks as it is now also required.
