MOTION: Councillor C. O'Connor

That this Tallaght Area Committee confirms its strong support for the Local Policing Forum in Tallaght West, appreciating the importance of the Forum to the local community and will he now confirm that a meeting of the Committee will be held immediately to arrange for a public meeting, noting that it is now several months since such meetings were held.

REPORT:

A meeting of the Tallaght Local Policing Forum Management Committee is scheduled to take place next Friday, October 23rd. It is a matter for the Management Committee to examine the potential for holding any further public meetings this year. Members should note that three public meetings have taken place in the last 12 months, on October 28th 2014, March 3rd 2015 and June 9th 2015 and that public meetings usually take place 3 times per year.
