QUESTION: Councillor C. O'Connor

"To ask the Chief Executive if he has had any contact with Partas in respect of the Enterprise Centres Network in Tallaght which is so important for the creation of local jobs and if there any plans for further development in that regard?"

REPLY:

The Chief Executive is in general communication with Partas. As stated previously, the Council was centrally involved in the funding and construction of five new enterprise centres throughout the county, including three in the Tallaght area which are under the management of Partas. The Council continues to give active support to these centres. As part of the Councils’ ongoing commitment to support enterprise and employment a full analysis of enterprise centres will be carried out to maximise new start-ups within the existing facilities. Following this analysis further provision may be considered.
