MOTION: Councillor C. King

"That this Committee calls on the Chief Executive to investigate feasible options to improve the security and safety of patrons using Bohernabreena Cemetry in an effort to curb the increased number of robberies in the Cemetry which has left users feeling vulnerable while grieving their loved ones".

REPORT:

Proposals for the installation of a CCTV system in Bohernabreena Cemetery have been included in the Capital Programme 2016 - 2018, for implementation in 2016.

Subject to the Capital Programme's approval, it is hoped to go to tender for these works in early 2016.
