MOTION: Councillor L. O'Toole

"That this Council requests the Chief Executive to examine the publicly owned building/community centre adjacent to the school (Kishogue Community) and considers measures to improve the look and appearance of this building and its surroundings."

REPORT:

The facility referred to in the motion is contained within Lynch's Park Traveller Accomodation site which comprises of 10 group houses and 9 residential caravan bays and a small community centre building.

The Traveller Accomodation Unit are in discussions with the residents regarding painting the exterior of this facility through either direct provision or by supplying the paint and equipment to the residents.
