QUESTION NO.1

QUESTION: Councillor B. Bonner

"To ask the Chief Executive to examine the possibility of providing extra seats at a number of locations in Rathcoole Park.  These would be of benefit to the many older people who are now using the much improved park facilities.  The locations where seating is requested are as follows;

1. adjacent to the single soccer pitch leading to Millrace and Saggart

2. the area with it's entrance facing Avoca, inside the second entrance on Fitzmaurice Road

3. Inside the second entrance from Beechwood Heights.  (not the rose garden entrance)." 

REPLY:

The Council's Public Realm Section intends to install new seating at the locations in Rathcoole Park which are listed here.  It is proposed that the new seats will be installed early in 2016.
